Planning your first pet supplies range

Define the pet, sales channel and budget before choosing apparel, toys, walking accessories or beds. Starting with one use case can reduce the inventory burden of too many variants.

Prepare sizes, materials, colours, quantities and packaging requirements. Ask suppliers to separate sample costs, minimum quantities, production timing and transport packaging; each variant may have its own minimum.

Compare samples for appearance, dimensions, connections and usability. Agree on acceptance criteria, packing lists and delivery milestones before ordering in volume.
